Prepare for WW3

Our idiot corporal (Whoops) Prime Minister Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson is talking us into a war with Russia as he phoned Ukraine’s President Volodymyr Zelensky and “reaffirmed his unwavering support for Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.”

Meanwhile, the Ukraine wants to join NATO , and the NATO Secretary General, Jens Stoltenberg said: “NATO is the only way to end the war in Donbass.” (Gawd, what an idiot!)

IMHO it’s going to end up as remake of the Balkans war.
Probably with NATO arriving fashionably late (again).
And the UN peace keepers as useless as ever.

Oi, Johnson! Butt out! It’s not our war!

Telling the aware what they already know.

UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson was accused of undermining his government’s vaccination program after he told Brits that those fully inoculated against Covid-19 could still not meet indoors as they were not completely protected. Apr 2, 2021 12:46 RT

I burst out laughing when this was ‘reveled’  by RT.
BOJO has a habit of being an idiot, although stating that may have been the first ‘non lie’ he has ever spoken.

It’s always been acknowledged that the current vaccines are not foolproof and, at best, they will only reduce the effects of COVID to a level that will not need hospital care.

Which is why we continue to observe basic self protection by masking and gloving up, social distancing, generally being careful about what we touch,  where we go, and washing hands.

Something we’ve agreed will become a normal part of life.

As for him releasing the masses onto the streets?
Yet another masterclass of populist politics that will kill many and trigger the third (or is it forth) wave by summer.

The worst bit about all this is I would love to evacuate away from UK politics. Only there is nowhere safe (COVID and politics free) on the planet that I’d like to move to who would let a couple of English ‘under training wrinklies’ (with little money) retire to.

Too windy or not enough. Both works (not)

Power shortage in the wind – National Grid has warned Britain’s electricity will be in short supply over the next few days after a string of unplanned power plant outages and unusually low wind speeds. The operator said it would take action to “make sure there is enough generation” during the cold weather spell to prevent a second major blackout in as many years.

A spokeswoman for National Grid said the latest electricity supply squeeze was not expected to be as severe as recorded last month and it did not expect to issue an official warning in the next 24 hours. (Guardian)

Sort of makes you yearn for those lovely old coke burning power stations, doesn’t it? The sort of plant where you could control their output as opposed to the white elephant that is wind power.

There again, nuclear power is also stable.
Only with so much B.S. behind the decision-making, let alone the financing, let alone the back handers for this and that, and the fear of letting the Chinese build one in the UK.

Na, never going to happen in our backward thinking country.

Methinks the UK is doomed to run by those long distance extension cords from Europe for a very long time. If not forever.

Oops, nearly forgot.
The UK is bankrupt anyway and well on its way to its third trillion of debt as our idiot chancellor is still paying people (Furlough) to stay at home to a maximum of £2500 (or is it £2100 today) a month.

I find it bewildering the amount of money being given away so some city slicker, company director, or mid level uncivil servant,  can sit at home playing on his Game Boy, X-Box, or whatever all day.

What me bitter and twisted?
Oh yeah, and then some.

Stress pushing me into ‘what was’.

A night of dreams, although I slept, and the realization that I’m slipping back into ‘what was’. The stress of living in yellow and occasionally red for the last five months, with my head in a swivel, is beginning to tell.

The constant CP, gently guiding my lovely keeper in the hope she doesn’t object (too much). The running interference between her and the gormless with loads of restraint on my part as I carry none of the tools of old and the knowledge I’m now just a little old man.

Today we were talking about our life together and how this year has been our worst for arguments EVER. Which is mainly down to me. Combat stress is what I suffered from once and the signs are all there but it took a quiet conversation with my keeper for me to really look in the mirror and into my eyes. Tired and jaded stared back at me, red from not taking time off for a simple blink when out and about, and little sleep.

Worst bit about it?
Things are going to get worse over the next few weeks as the brain-dead sheeple flock to our county (State), into our little town, to play in the sea.

Us back into a self-imposed lockdown like so many other residents.
All of us thinking “Go home!”
Dawn and late night walks for the dog to avoid all but the locals doing the same.
As for shopping?
Once a month, in a neighboring town, before 8am or after 9pm.
Tuesday to Thursday are the quiet times.
Jeez! What air I had left in my balloon just ran out at that thought.

That and knowing there
Just isn’t anywhere safe
To run to!
