Go digital or no shopping?

The threat is in, businesses and services ‘MAY’ (Which is UKGovspeak for WILL) have the right to demand they see the NHS APP which will show your complete health and vaccination record, before letting you in.

Interesting, and a picture
of my little PAYG phone.

This shining example of high tech only does a few things.
Make and receive voice calls and text messages.
It DOESN’T DO Pictures, Apps, Internet, Radio, and a whole host of other things it’s big brother, the smart phone, does.

But being less that $15 US, pay as you go, PAYG, is all we can afford.

So what happens now?
I go to a shop, dentist, doctors, chemist, hospital, or bank, and get turned away because I haven’t got a Smart Phone?

Something that we can’t afford let alone run??

Only it doesn’t stop with us as a couple on a fixed income, and many senior aged and other little people live frugally, as we do, through necessity, not choice. Their choices are simple.
Heat or eat, pay the bills and go without, or take a long walk off a short pier, into the sea.

Now if all that seems overly dramatic, try this.
If we can’t shop, travel, or access medical services, because of the UKGov’s diktats, what alternatives have we? Other than:-

and   or even

A tale of ineptitude

A neighbor of ours was doing his daily welfare check on an 8o plus person who is   ‘sheltering in place’ as per the UK Gov guidelines. (Or it is law today?)

Anyway the phone rang, and it was the doctors who wanted the octogenarian to go to the surgery for a blood test. Partially blind, almost deaf, and with severe mobility issues.

So the neighbor asked if it could be done at home.
Utter confusion from the doctors.
The neighbor pointing out that the patient’s mobility was terrible, blind, deaf, and sheltering at home as was in the ULTRA high risk category.
More confusion from the doctors.
Bottom line?
We all think the blood test won’t happen.
Only it doesn’t stop there.
The response to the question “Will you vaccinate XYZ at the same time”?
Um, Er, dunno, will ask, muttering on phone, NO!

The lunatics are definitely in charge.
Expecting a highly disabled person, in the high risk category, to have to go to the surgery (1.3 miles away), against the Covid-19 lockdown rules, for a blood test that could be done by a health care professional at home, just like others who are stuck in their homes have their bloods done.

As said many times before.
This typifies the healthcare in our town.
A jackass is running things.

When the argument for ring fencing London rings loud.

One in 30 people is thought to be infected in London – compared to one in 50 nationally.

London seems to have been the launch point for EVERY phase of the Covid-19 dissemination around the UK.
It’s definitely the world’s access point for variants into the country and the #1 onward transmitter of those variants to the world.

So, is it time to ring fence and isolate London?
By ring fencing I mean the blocking of all routes in and out of the capital by using the M25 circular (which surrounds London) as foundations for a 15 foot high barbed wire fence.

That (and I know I keep saying this) shutting down the ports, airports and rail links?

Someone is bound to say what about food?
One heavily, manned by police and inspectors, junction in and one out for commercial food and others essentials.

What, not an option as it would be political death for Boris Johnson’s government.

Like I care. Lives matter and the governments love of money needs to be pushed onto the back burner.

Or it may be easier to just sterilize London.

2013h GMT and PM Johnson addresses the nation.

So, in a nutshell, they have lost control of Covid-19, and the whole of the UK is effectively under house arrest till mid February.

Sort of.
“You may only leave home for limited reasons permitted in law, such as to shop for essentials, to work if you absolutely cannot work from home, to exercise, to seek medical assistance such as getting a Covid test, or to escape domestic abuse.”

Workers will once again be expected to work from home unless they are unable to do so, for example those working in construction workers or key workers.

Exercise outside the home is permitted, but the government has urged this is done ideally just once a day and that people stay local to their home.

People can only meet with one other person from outside their household if it is for exercise purposes.

As in March, police will have legal power to enforce the rules – including the threat of fines and dispersal orders.

School set to close:
They should have asked us preppers about that one as we’ve been saying that through this whole fiasco).

In a U-turn on the government’s plan for a staggered reopening of schools and colleges with mass testing, schools will not open and online learning will return for the majority. Schools and colleges will be closed except for key worker children and vulnerable children while nurseries, special school and alternative provision can remain open.

BTEC exams scheduled to happen in the next few days will continue as planned, but the future of this year’s GCSE and A Level exams remains unclear. In his address, Mr Johnson warned it would “not be possible or fair for all exams to go ahead as planned this summer”.

The rules around childcare support bubbles will stay as they are.

University students will be expected to stay at home and not return to campus until at least the middle of February. (OMG the great unwashed millennial’s and their spawn will have more time to protest)

What will close?
As in the first lockdown, all non essential retail, hospitality and personal care must close – including gyms and leisure facilities. Delivery and takeaways will still be allowed, but only for food – pubs will not be allowed to serve takeaway alcohol. Ministers said this new restriction was down to concerns about a lack of social distancing around pick up points for takeaway alcohol.

Places of worship for communal worship can remain open but social distancing measures must be in place.

Golf, tennis and outdoor gyms must close.
While outdoor meetings for team sports will also be banned.
Professional sport can continue, providing systems are in place to ensure social distancing is adhered to and teams are able to bubble securely.

Will people be asked to shield again?
The clinically extremely vulnerable are advised to begin shielding again, and Mr Johnson said those affected will receive letters “shortly”.

What about travel abroad?
Only essential journeys are allowed overseas.
Only I reckon they won’t be stopping private flights or boats.
Memo to UKGov, You really should listen to us preppers!

The government is urging the public to abide by the tightened restrictions from Monday evening, with the rules set to become law on Tuesday.

So what’s not closing down?
Ports, Airports, Ferries, and the Channel Tunnel.

In other words my foreign friends, treat everyone who turns up from the UK, or has transited though our airports, ports, ferries, or the Channel Tunnel, with the upmost caution as the UK remains the worlds #1 virus forwarding hub.

Think they should have listened to us preppers about that?

So, that’s it for now from Stalag Lincolnshire, UK.
Send food parcels ASAP.
Love and kisses
Paul Gray.

Excuse me while I :-

South Africa and their Christmas gift.

As one commentator put it:-
Their biggest export since AIDs, what a wonderful contribution to society their kind make.

What they are talking about is the South African version of Covid-19 that has hit our country. Highly infectious, kill rate still unknown, and (funny enough) came in on an international flight, then into London (no surprise there), then the East of England (no surprise there), and onward to the North West of England.

So, who was at fault?

  • The carrier(s)? We’ve no idea if they were even symptomatic.
  • The airline? Should they have insisted on a negative test before boarding?
  • Heathrow? For not screening EVERYONE that passes through the airport holding them there until the result came through. (Now there’s a thought!)
  • How’s about the useless jerks in the UK government that should have stopped ALL FLIGHTS, Shipping, and anything passing through the Channel Tunnel. Thus totally isolating us from infections brought in from other countries from MARCH OF THIS YEAR?

Too easy? Not if you put money before lives.

So, on Christmas Eve, from 9am, all flights from South Africa were banned. Only we won’t mention the SEVEN FLIGHTS that arrived through the night before 9am. Or the other flights from South Africa that landed in Europe and probably onward via city hoppers, ferries, or the Channel Tunnel into the UK.

Sometimes you REALLY despair about the inadequacies of the UK Government.

Still we are now the proud holders of a new title.
The Untied (not a typo) Kingdom and,
Europe’s Covid Central.

As a result of the criminal stupidity of our government, we all sit in a Biological HOT ZONE, virus ridden, falling apart socially, economically, and in a ruined country of their making. Locked down, restricted, and all because of the lure of money that wouldn’t let the most obvious of containment measures be introduced.

Je vous présente notre gouvernement inutile
Our useless Government.60% plus from independent schools.
Rich in university education.
Resulting in nothing less than abject stupidity,
criminal negligence by putting money before lives and,
For most of this year, the highest death toll in Europe.

Thank’s PM Alexander Boris de Pfeffel Johnson aka Boris , Matt the Muppet, and the other host of ‘YES PRIME MINISTER, what a totally spiffing idea” limps, that make up the above.

Shopping London Style

Having infected half of England,
London now turns it’s attention to those who stayed.

I’m not going to pick on the woman without a mask on as she could be exempt wearing one for health reasons.

However, social distancing has gone, dun with, and never happened, it appears.

Still, when the virus starts putting Londoners into the ground en-mass. I think the government should write a letter to ASDA (where this was taken) to thank them for solving the housing shortage. That and thank them some more for boosting the nations coffers with death taxes.

Meanwhile, the Covid maps speaks volumes of the danger from London and the affluent South East to the nation.

19th December 2020                      24th December 2020

Five days,
That’s all it took for London and the South East to do this much damage. Expedited by the worse example of how to conduct a lockdown EVER! That having PM Johnson and Health Sec. Hancock’s name all over it!

Anyway, I bet that’s leaving you feeling all warm and fuzzy!

PM Boris Johnson and his pet muppet, Matt Hancock. What a joke they are.

LONDONERS who fled the capital before lock down last night were today slammed as “totally irresponsible” by a fuming Heath Secretary Matt Hancock.

The city’s stations were described as “war zones” as locals skipped town before the tough new Tier 4 lockdown came into effect at midnight.

If the prats in charge had thought about things by closing the roads, trains, and planes out of the M25 circular road, and to and from the East and South East, BEFORE declaring Tier 4 restrictions, this Covid Flight might have been been controllable.

Only Hancock and PM Johnson didn’t.
Wanna blame someone about the next level of death coming soon?
You need look no further than these two gormless idiots.

Incidentally, this variant had been discovered WAY BACK in September.
And Hancock and Johnson don’t seem to have reacted to it at all.

Incompetence in government? SOP for the UK.

Tier 4, hard lock down, PM Johnson style.

The aim.
To quarantine everyone in London , the East and SE of England in order to stop the spread of the ‘new’ highly transmittable mutation of Covid-19.

The Method.
PM Johnson and two scientific brain farts went on TV, social and other media, to tell the above to stay at home. Carefully, politely, appealing to their common decency, and commonsense, with only a hint of enforcement (which was promptly rejected by the police as unenforceable).

The plan to stop the inevitable Covid flight?
That would be NONE. Trains ran, private and public transport was unfettered and internal flights kept flying.

The Result.
The infected started running for the hills, valleys, anywhere they could, to get out of the quarantine zone, and containment started failing before the words had finished coming out of PM Johnson’s pie hole.

Thousands of people rushed to leave London on Saturday night after Prime Minister Boris Johnson revealed the city and a third of England will be thrust into the newly-created Tier 4. It sparked panic and commuters scrambling to get out of the capital. (DM)

Looking forward to a Happy Christmas with family and friends?
With an incubation period of 5 days onward, the infection numbers are going to soar right around the country from Christmas Day on. (Only no one will be counting till after the holidays).

It’s like this country WANTS TO DIE.
As for our ‘leadership’, scientific brain farts, and someone even thinking about “quarantine runners” and hard containment measures? The West slated the Chinese for locking down regions using their army, police, AND FORCE within hours. Only that action saved lives. If only our government had a pair that clank half as loud as the Chinese leadership.

Here? The limp wrist political ‘we’re not going to put ourselves in danger of being chucked out of office’ approach to containment was about as effective as making a hot brew in a chocolate teapot. Messy and totally ineffective.

As a result, England is about to be VSF.

Happy Christmas folks.
For many, thanks to the trash who ran, it may be the last time you’ll see your parents, siblings, and friends outside of an open box.

NICE ONE (not) LONDON, and
The East, and SE of England.

UK’s Christmas is cancelled.

Unsurprisingly, this is going to be a rant!

This is all because of London and those living along the commuter routes to and from the affluent East and South East of England spreading a new, highly transmissible, variant of the virus.

I’m also looking back at all the recent coverage of the morons in London and other East and SE cities and larger townships showing large numbers of fools getting their last night of boozing before entering lock down.

It should go without saying that preppers knew what would happen next and infection rates did soar as predicted.

The other question here is why didn’t the UKGov react sooner!
After all they knew about this new variant back in NOVEMBER!
Was it all about the money this time?
Or were they running scared of the political backlash of cancelling Christmas?

Anyway, I’ve got a personal message to Londoners, those who live in the East and SE, and any of the big cities around the UK who might be thinking of running out of their Tier 3/4 restrictions to somewhere else for Christmas.

Piss off and stay out of Lincolnshire.

As for the much heralded vaccine that common knowledge within our town knows will not be locally available!

The roll out is crap, disorganized, using an inferior product that will exclude many from receiving it, and GP’s are NOT BEING FORCED to join in on the vaccination process.

What is the UKGov doing about that? NOTHING!

Thus the vaccine centres we know of are miles away so that will increase the chance of exposure to the asymptomatic by us attending those centers, and during the journey there and back. Especially those without their own transport.

Gawd, what a mess.
But I still submit that the UKGov put money before lives and that is one of the main reasons why we were and are now neck deep in the shit!

Rant over, and pass the Valium mother!

A View From The Range: Rising Violence

I’ve reblogged this for my UK readers as some of them are looking at the US with some amusement at what is occurring there.

IT ISN’T ANYTHING TO TAKE LIGHTLY because it’s a warning of what will happen here in our ‘Untied’ Kingdom and most of the ‘old world’.

That being the breakdown of our (so called) civilized and tolerant society, which is already evident in the soaring crime, deaths, and civil disorder.

Prepper 365

Violence is raging across the US in various forms and for various reasons, and many Americans are rightly concerned that this will only get worse. You are likely aware, unless you rely solely on the alphabet news, that the violence in our cities has NOT stopped or even slowed, but grown unchecked. Its nothing new that people are shot in Chicago every single weekend, but the sheer number of shootings is surging. Murders in NYC have doubled, but their liberal policies put those thugs right back on the street while at the same time these corrupt politicians point their greasy fingers at law abiding gun owners. The radicals in Portland have themselves another ‘autonomous’ zone and are reportedly heavily armed, while law enforcement stands there handcuffed by a corrupt local government. Did I mention all the convicted felons being released by some liberal States and cities to ‘stop the threat’…

England and another weak national lockdown.

Are they closing down air travel? No.
How’s about the ferries? No.
The Channel Tunnel? No
So actually they aren’t closing down this pathetic little island at all to external sources of the virus.

Are they stopping trains, trams, and the subway? No.
Buses, Taxis, trucks, vans and cars? No.
So local travel between cities, towns, villages, and hamlets, will still spread the virus.

Will the police be patrolling the streets in every city, town, village, and hamlet to stop people being outside? No.
What about knocking on doors to check there is no one in the house that shouldn’t be there? No.
Are they imposing a Dusk to Dawn Curfew? No.

Are they closing nurseries, schools, colleges or universities (already rife with infected)? No.

So actually they aren’t doing ANYTHING sensible at all.
This is so drippy wet that I won’t need another shower for a month!

AND I’m still thinking WHEN not IF.

Make laws, threaten fines, then do nothing? Must be the UK Gov.

The much heralded law of “six people maximum in a group” came into force yesterday and was promptly ignored by everyone.

Why? Because it’s OK to have bigger groups if you go down the pub/bar or into a restaurant, attend a wedding, go to a funeral, go to a hospital, go to work, attend schools, colleges, and universities, go to church, shopping, or anywhere where you are spending money.

Not forgetting a good old protest or demonstration.
Provided you have done a risk assessment, there is no foul.

Just not at home or in parks or on the streets.

Ministers were ridiculed over the new ‘Rule of Six’ today after it emerged that ‘mingling’ has been outlawed.

Definition of mingling? Interacting with others!
WTF does that mean!

Then there is one rule for the rich, another for little people.
Groups of up to 30 hunters and grouse shooters are specifically allowed under the restrictions, which also have exemptions for other “licensed outdoor activities”.

Then it got better, or is it worse?
The UK Gov said police would not be handing out fines for the first few days of the new regulations.

So, when is an enforceable law but not an enforceable law?
Whenever the UK Gov open their pie holes.

Then later on, the threat of a 9 pm curfew was launched.
Now that one I’m definitely going to ignore and break as the dog needs it’s final walk before settling down at 10 pm EVERY NIGHT.

PLUS, for medical reasons,  I need the walk before retiring.

Only this new maggot brained idea is REALLY unclear as what if you are putting the garbage out, going to or coming from a hospital, leaving a public place like a supermarket, pub or bar. Driving home after a late shift.
What happens if you miss the last bus and have to walk?
Then there is those taxis, Uber, late trains or buses, overnight deliveries, security guards, and a host of other night time occupations.

Knee jerk, ill thought out ideas, how typically inept from our UK Gov.

Wanna stop the virus spreading?
Shoot the cause that let it spread in the first place.
No prizes for guessing who I mean.

Grandstanding (and appeasing their members) over safety.

Councils in north-west England ask for Covid lockdown to remain as cases rise. (Guardian)

Rise? Na, the numbers have gone ballistic
Local councils know this BUT interspersed between the sensible councils are Conservative (Tory) run councils who, being a thick as poo as most Tories are, want their “freedoms” restored.

Enter the POS called Hancock. (Tory Health Minister).
In true weasel fashion he’s appeasing his faithful while endangering everyone else. Only the shadow government are demanding to see the rational and scientific evidence that this is a SAFE  thing to do.

Yeah, right, like that’s going to happen.
Why? Because there is no evidence, just him pandering to their membership.

The North West and North East are both run down areas of the UK.
Nice people there, but employment and government investment is low so poverty is everywhere. Medical services are suffering from lack of funding and I reckon the ‘non Tory areas’ have been added to THE TORY CULL LIST just like they did with the nations elderly and chronically sick.

Anyway to me it does show some hope.
Local councils ARE questioning the actions of this fool and ultimately adding more evidence for the prosecution of the government in the courts if the death rate soars.

New Zealand suspends flight into country

New Zealand’s national carrier Air New Zealand says the hold will last for three weeks while the government tries to find enough quarantined hotel rooms for people returning home.

Sensible approach I’m thinking and why NZ has things under control.

Unlike my U.K. that lets anyone in or transit through the country.
Only putting people entering the country into quarantine in their homes under a ‘trust basis’ as opposed by actively enforcing it by law.

Still I reckon it might put us at the top of some world league table.
As the number one for onward transmission of the Coronavirus.

As predicted, The sheeple went feral

The chairman of the Police Federation has warned yesterday’s pub reopening has proved it is “crystal clear” drunk people were unable to social distance adequately.

Commenting after so-called Super Saturday, featuring images from London’s Soho showed packed streets in the early hours of this morning,

Aw shucks.
There I was thinking that the UK’s sheeple would be such good little boys and girls. Just like the two stooges PM Johnson and Health Secretary Hancock though they would.

Like hell did I think they would be good.
It’s a fk’ing shambles, a dangerous one too, as many of our friends also predicted.

It will almost certainly kick start the second wave.

So, it’s July 5. 12 days on for incubation will be July 17th
Oh boy are we going to see a spike in the numbers on that day.

The Second Wave Is Building

They can’t hide it anymore.
Yesterday 89 deaths, today 137.

Plus in 36 cities and counties, the figures are spiking again.
In particular, the ‘R’ rate in London has risen above one. (Twitter)
Which should mean London won’t be celebrating Johnson’s ‘Independence Day’ and needs to go back  into lock down.

But it won’t.
No Sir! As if that was to happen, it would be a PR disaster for PM Johnson.

There again, if he does NOTHING and the figures go wild, all of the top echelon of Yes Men will be in the frame for a career change for one reason or the other.

Leicester and the forecast invasion into our seaside town on July 4.

Guardian. (with edit)
A rapid investigation into the Covid-19 outbreak in Leicester by Public Health England has revealed it has been driven by increased infections in the under-19s and people of working age.

Now they are thinking if the return of children to school is connected to the growth in infections. There were also infections at one of the sites of University Hospitals of Leicester NHS trust with a dozen staff found infected but were asymptomatic.

Crunch time!
The ethnicity of the people infected broadly reflected the makeup of the population, which is about 50% from black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.

Then came this laughable statement.
The increase in infections was attributed, in part at least, to an increase in testing.  So does that mean testing INCREASES your chances of getting infected? That’s a bit of a sobering thought.

So, what’s the mood where we live?
Some of it is way more than slightly aggressive within the more feral sections of our community who have extended families and are desperate to protect their own elderly and vulnerable relations.

In a nutshell, Visitors from Lincoln, Leicester, Nottingham, Coventry, and the rest of the Midlands are unwanted.

Most don’t want them anywhere near us!
That anger being readily expressed in our shops and on our streets.
As for the many worried? They are BIG TIME.
Yet most of that is also coming out as ANGER towards our loving, caring government.

The Why?
Because the visitors will invade, infect, then bugger off home leaving us with our piss poor healthcare to pick up the pieces.

In short it may literally be the death of our little town.

What to do?
Nothing we can do as there is nowhere safe to run to in this Corvid infected wonderland called the Untied (not a typo) Kingdom.

In preparation, most of our street has recently ‘gone shopping’ and the sensible now have at least 14 days (most close to 30 days) worth of supplies laid in. Enough? It’ll have to be.

Meanwhile we are fully tanked up with fuel as our minor shopping won’t be within our town. It’s not that there won’t be a lot but as there are VERY FEW supermarkets or other food suppliers, they stand more of a chance of becoming carriers / infectors than anywhere else in our county (state).

City of Leicester, UK to stay in lockdown as the rest of the UK parties.

And the seeds of civil disturbance and disobedience were sown.
To lock down just a complete city, as one very small part of it (a very ‘multicultural’ part of it) has a hot zone, while July 4 “Independence day” is unleashed will almost certainly cause civil disorder.

Only it won’t stop there.
All things local government and it’s agents, be that police or enforcement, are going to be in for one hell of a pasting.

There is no law in place to do this, no procedure yet written to how to do that or enforce it. Only a few vague offenses that were recently announced as ILLEGAL!

As for BLM?
They will see it as a racist attack on the BAME community.
So I reckon that will generate some ‘fun on the streets’.

This has disaster written all the way through it.
Health Secretary Hancock

A 5 min browse through the UK’s media reveals chaos

If there was some doubt about the weakness in the UK’s sheeple mindset, that’s been blown away in a weekend of half a million weak minds flooding onto Dorset beaches and other attractions on the South Coast. Let alone the other millions who lost all commonsense and the ability to think coherently and gathered in crowds all around the rest of the country.

To that I’ll offer the latest in London’s Brixton’s riots.
Liverpool football crowds in their thousands.
Exeter mass fights.
Manchester’s and Glasgow’s rebellions against lock down

Yet let’s not stop there and the UK Glove puppet PM Johnson is due to give the green light to foreign holidays next Monday. DESPITE the resurgence of Corvid-19 in Europe and the massive surge of infection we are seeing around the world.

Thus re-establishing the UK as the World’s Number ONE onward transmitter of the coronavirus.

Police warn there are ‘not enough officers’ to cope with Independence Day chaos: John Apter, national chairman of the Police Federation in England and Wales says ‘perfect storm’ of unlocking stir-crazy Brits and letting them straight into pubs on a Saturday will cause dangerous ‘carnival’ on July 4.

Sir, I think you are putting that mildly.

So that’s it. The numbers of infections are already rising in the UK, typically over a 1000 a day. Once again another date gets highlighted on the kitchen calendar. July 16.

12 days after the ‘perfect storm’ of ‘liberation day’, UK style.

How come I’m thinking we are both just statistics.
Just waiting to happen.

Common sense verses UK business considerations.

The more the idiot PM Johnson spoke in parliament today, the more I am convinced the politicians, and big business, are running the asylum.

Social Distancing.
In a stunning piece of stupidity that puts business interests WAY ABOVE people’s safety. The social distancing has been amended from a fixed 2 meters to a vague 1 meter plus.

Meaning it is permissible to reduce the 2 meter distance to a meter so long you take additional protective measures like wearing face-coverings, not facing one another, washing your hands (Seriously, that was said) or remaining outdoors.

Face covering? What kind?
To what level of protection? None was given.
For how long you can stay together was also not detailed.

So what does scientific advice say?

Switzerland’s health ministry says that “according to current data, a distance of more than one meter reduces the risk of COVID-19 infection by more than 80% in both healthcare (settings) and everyday life”.

UK’s SAGE, Summary, 14 April.
There are no amendments to social distancing measures that SAGE can say, with a high degree of confidence, would have a negligible impact on the reproduction number. SAGE does not recommend changing any measures at this time.

Chief scientific advisor at the Health and Safety Executive.
‘Being exposed to someone “for a few seconds” at a one meter distance could equate to around an hour of being two meters away from the same person.

The average time for someone can drink a pint of beer is not ‘for a few seconds’. A conversation generally lasts longer than ‘a few seconds’. As for eating a meal, getting a haircut or a shave will be longer than a few seconds. Haircut or a shave the same.

The resurgence of Corvid-19 in Europe where lock down was relaxed is also being ignored.

All in all, it is clear the experts are being ignored in the pursuit of MONEY!

So, to put a figure on what this all means.
The UK’s Office of National Statistics reported that in the week ending 24/6 .
8074 were infected and 958 died.
Does that sound like things are under control?

How’s about if I use the same figures over the next 27 weeks i.e. New Year.
217998 will have been infected, and 25866 would have died.

Is anyone in the UK even mildly worried?
Or are you content to trust the bumbling fool that is Boris Johnson.
The UK’s Hand Puppet of Big Business.
